NJSGC Graduate Fellow Kristina Cheng has completed her Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the Rutgers School of Graduate Studies!. Additionally, Kristina was chosen as the student speaker at the School of Graduate Studies Master's Convocation. 

To highlight Kristina's notable accomplishments during her graduate studies:

  • Received the Outstanding Master's Student Award from the Rutgers School of Graduate Studies
  • Defended her thesis successfully on "Investigating using Non-Equilibrium Plasmas for Precursor Decomposition and Nanomaterials Synthesis"
  • Conducted research that has been submitted for a patent
  • Awarded the Raisler Endowed Fellowship
  • Served as a Graduate Fellow under NJSGC for two years
  • Presented a poster at the 2025 ASGSR (American Society for Gravitational and Space Research) Conference in Puerto Rico
  • Accepted for a speaker presentation at the upcoming International Congress on Particle Technology - PARTEC 2025 Conference
