Twenty STEM-interested high school students joined Rutgers scientists Hugh Roarty, Rick Lathrop, Kendall Eldridge and Lucas Marxen in examining the effectiveness of prescribed fire to attain increase the biodiversity in the meadows and woodlands of the Rutgers Ecological Preserve and Natural Teaching Area, a 400-acre tract on the Livingston Campus of Rutgers University. 

Please join us for the culminating Symposium of the RISE (Research Intensive Summer Experience) at Rutgers program, where you can meet and recruit talented prospects from diverse backgrounds for your graduate program. Please also circulate to your program faculty and to graduate students and postdocs.

The New Jersey Rock-SAT-C team, centered at Stevens Institute of technology and advised by the NJSGC program coordinator Prof. Joe Miles, had another successful showing at the 2023 Rock-SAT-C event. Click here for more information on the Rock-SAT-C program.

New Jersey students, under the supervision of Prof. Onur Bilgen, affiliate representative from Rutgers, New Brunswick campus, had three organized visits to the Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum in 2022 and were treated tour of the aircraft carrier, several aircraft and the Space Shuttle Enterprise.
