Alexandria Austin, Chris Blackwood, Chris Cowan, Joshua Gross, Zack Shoop, Jesse Stevenson, Adam Testa, Sam Yakovlev and Prof. Joseph S. Miles, recently returned from the annual Rock-SAT-C launch. Other team members, not pictured, consist of Ronald Ankner, Richard Thorton, Stephen Kontrimas, and Prof. Nicholaus Parziale. The team constructed two experiments for launch on a sounding rocket payload. The first experiment utilized a pressure sensor to measure turbulent and laminar air flow over the nosecone of the rocket.
NJSGC Annual Poster Session for Academic Year Fellows was held on Friday, April 27, 2018 at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. Students and professors viewed student research posters and learned about students' research.

Representatives from colleges and universities in New Jersey met at Rutgers University on April 28, 2017 to discuss NJSGC plans and goals.
Students Sarah Pascall, Heidi Tsang, and Rimsha Malik participated in the NASA-GISS Summer program for Scientists and Engineers which is part of a larger program of 75 at the CCNY symposium. In summer 2016 the team of three, led by Professor Joseph S. Miles and Dean Siva Thangam created two robots over the course of a six to eight week period. Both robots then competed against each other, and two former champion robots, for points in an arena at Stevens Institute of Technology.
On Friday, August 5, 2016 the NJSGC Annual Summer Research Conference was held at Rutgers University. Summer research fellows who conducted research at NJSGC affiliate institutions through various NJSGC sponsored programs made presentations to faculty, parents, and invited guests.
